With just a couple of weeks to go ‘til our 1-day Data-Driven Decisions event in Manchester, we’ve released a new wave of tickets and are happy to announce these fab speakers:

Pippa Gardner is the CEO & Co-Founder of Urban Tide - Smart Cities Data Experts based in the UK. She is interested in all aspects of open data – identifying with both the importance of stakeholder and citizen engagement as well as data management and technology.

Paul Connell is the Founder and Head of Innovation at ODI Leeds, the Founder of Actuated Futures and works closely with the Leeds Data Mill.

Stephen Blackburn manages Leeds Data Mill and is Senior Information Governance Officer at Leeds City Council. Heading up Leeds Data Mill from its inception, Stephen has led the way in promoting open data with services in the council and with external partners across the city.

Tom Heath is Data and Systems Architect at Arup and was previously Head of Research at the Open Data Institute. He is an accomplished, creative, and commercially-minded data scientist with extensive leadership and technical experience.

And we’re very much looking forward to hearing from Julie Fidler, Steve Peters, Jamie Whyte, Jon Blower and Gregor Boyd too. They’ll be speaking about their experiences with using data in context for MyNHS, DCLG, Trafford County Council, the Institute for Environmental Analytics and the Scottish Government respectively.
