Scottish Linked Data hackday
The Scottish Linked Data Interest Group has just set up another hackday. It’s scheduled for Tuesday 5 July at ‘Inspace’ in the Informatics Forum of Edinburgh University.
Registration and more details can be found here
The last event in Glasgow in February was a great success: lots of useful ideas exchanged and several new Linked Data datasets produced (see Linked Scotland for some of them).
Anyone with an interest in linked data is welcome. The main part of the day is for hands-on hacking – but you don’t have to be a programmer or a linked data techie to come along: if you’ve got some data and are looking to connect with people with linked data skills, then you might also find it useful.
We’ll wrap up the day with a ‘show and tell’ from 5 until 6. So if you want to know what’s going on but can’t make it for the whole day, come along for the final session.
And because the sun is bound to be shining, we’ll probably finish the day in the Pear Tree garden for refreshments and chat.
